Fridays, October 8 (sold out), 15 (sold out), 22 (sold out) or 29 (sold out) 6:30-10:30. Cost is $125 per person made payable in advance by cash, check or major credit card. For our November class, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Lakewood Community Services Center, an organization that provides assistance to food insecure residents in Lakewood.

November 2021 Supper Club — A Thankful Gathering

Gatherings Kitchen is passionate about good food and good relationships, bringing people together and creating something spectacular for or with them! For the last year and a half, there has not been much opportunity for “gathering,” but thanks to your continued and generous support, our company has made it out on the other side. However, this experience has provided time for reflection and evaluation.

We are announcing a brief break. During this time, we will:

  • Not be accepting new catering orders.
  • Pausing Gatherings to Go weekly meals.

This time is being used to refresh our services and plan for an entirely new offering from Gatherings Kitchen. One thing is for sure, Gatherings Kitchen is where meals and memories are made. Our team is passionate about the end result: both in the dish and in your experience.

Prep School 2021

Prep School is comprised of five, three-hour courses over a 5-week period, and will arm you with techniques that will change the way you cook (and eat!) forever. Throughout the course, you’ll learn dozens of cooking techniques and terms including: braising, roasting, grilling, sautéing, poaching, steaming, blanching, stocks, soups, seasonings, sauces, salads, yeast breads, pasta and desserts. To sum it up…Prep School will do just that; prepare you for whatever recipe may come your way.

Our classes cover a variety of topics such as:

  • Developing a Balanced Menu: Learn how to prepare a completely balanced and delicious menu.
  • Taste seasonal ingredients and identify flavors.
  • It’s all about timing! Discover how to perfectly time a meal and learn the art of the prep!
  • Tools of the trade: Arm yourself with the best tools and gadgets for the job!
  • Dive into the concepts behind the recipes and take your cooking for the next level, ultimately allowing you to create your own menus and personal recipes.
